Etang Les Burons is a family-owned carp fishing destination in St Berthevin-la-Tannière, in France’s Pays de la Loire. Established in 1938, the mature, stream-fed lake covers 4.5 acres and sits among countryside and woodland. The fishery offers exclusive, Saturday-to-Saturday bookings for groups of up to four anglers, creating a private setting for a shared fishing holiday. Carp weighing more than 50 pounds are present.
Guests can fish from swims reached by gravel paths, with a cabin behind each swim. Cabins include English-style plug sockets, USB charging points, lighting and Wi-Fi, so anglers do not need to bring bivvies. Nets, slings and cradles are supplied at every swim. On-site facilities include a shower block with a hot shower, sink and English-style flushing toilet, a car park, and fridges available to hire for keeping food and drinks fresh.
Owners Rob and Janet assist with bookings and enquiries. The website also provides information on lake rules, wildlife, facilities, pricing, availability, travel and terms and conditions.
