Etat des pistes

Etat des pistes is a collaborative website dedicated to cross-country skiing in France and Switzerland. It brings together practical resources and community features to help enthusiasts find ski areas, assess snow conditions, and connect with other skiers. Visitors can browse a forum focused on piste conditions, where users share updates under specific posting rules, as well as a broader discussion forum covering cross-country skiing topics and destinations.

The site also provides webcam listings, helping users gauge snow coverage through current images, and information to locate Nordic ski areas and learn about them. For skiers travelling farther to reach suitable snow, its dedicated carpooling section supports shared journeys with fellow enthusiasts. A classified-ad service lets users post listings, including photos, to buy or sell skiing equipment.

Etat des pistes encourages community participation, inviting visitors to contribute local webcam links and condition reports. The site also introduces edp-parcours. com, a related route-planning software service for walking, skiing, and cycling, with an Android app for tracking routes and a free seven-day trial
