Ethiopian Human Rights Defenders Center (EHRDC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to protecting human rights defenders in Ethiopia. Their mission is to provide support and capacity-building training to human rights defenders, as well as expand and strengthen the network of defenders both within Ethiopia and internationally. EHRDC works tirelessly to promote and protect the rights of individuals and organizations fighting for human rights across the country.

Their board-led structure consists of highly respected individuals who hold key positions in various human rights organizations. With partnerships with organizations such as DefendDefenders and National Endowment for Development, EHRDC offers physical, mental, and economic support to defenders in all regions of Ethiopia. Additionally, they focus on capacity building, particularly for women defenders and those with disabilities.
