Slovenian Ethnologist. From 1993 to 1996, she was an external collaborator of the Slovenian Folklore Institute in Celovec, becoming a researcher in 1996 and director in 1997. Her research focuses on dialectology, sociolinguistics, and spiritual culture.
She leads and monitors research projects. The Slovenian Folklore Institute Urban Jarnik is dedicated to ethnological research of material and non-material heritage in Carinthia, including cultural-historical and linguistic issues. They offer advice on ethnological topics for dissertations and pre-scientific papers, provide practical experience for students, and engage in workshops in schools to pass on cultural heritage to young generations.
They also participate in research projects targeting youth. The institute recently published a new hiking map of the Sele municipality with recorded geographical names. In collaboration with other institutions, they organize events such as the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Folk Culture.
