Ethnothai is a comprehensive database dedicated to the study of human genetics and anthropology among the diverse ethnic groups in Thailand. With over 60 distinct ethnic communities, each possessing unique cultures, traditions, and languages, Ethnothai plays a crucial role in understanding the genetic diversity and evolutionary history of these populations. The database offers a wealth of information on population genetics and provides genetic markers essential for research and forensic applications.

By collating data from various studies, Ethnothai enables researchers to explore the genetic relationships and characteristics of Thai ethnic groups, linking them to their cultural practices and lifestyles. It also provides access to important DNA information for forensic purposes, using advanced techniques such as DNA microsatellites for individual identification. Targeting both academic and forensic communities, Ethnothai serves as a vital resource for those interested in the genetic heritage of Thailand's multifaceted populations.
