Etijah, the Youth and Development Consultancy Institute, is a specialized organization dedicated to developing, improving, and disseminating development methodologies in youth and community development. Founded in Cairo in 2006 and registered under Egyptian Law No. 84/2002, Etijah focuses on empowering young individuals by providing them with essential skills and building the capacity of both governmental and non-governmental youth organizations.

At Etijah, we believe that the lack of skills, expertise, and opportunities is the only obstacle to youth empowerment. To address this, we offer practical tools and models for developing community-wide initiatives and encourage youth to actively participate in the development process. Our projects, based on the ABCD Asset Based Community Development methodology, leverage the strengths and potential of communities.

Through entrepreneurship and employment, education and training, humanitarian initiatives, health and women's empowerment, as well as volunteerism and civic engagement, we aim to establish strong bonds between youth and their local communities.
