Unclaimed brand

Être Éco Lié is a rural cultural and craft association based in Xirocourt, in the Saintois region of France. Active since 2018, it brings together local residents, independent workers, building professionals and partners to share skills, resources and community life. Its activities focus on sustainable living, practical learning and collaboration, supported by a woodworking workshop, a shared office in the village’s former school, and a 1.5-hectare agroecological orchard.
The association offers shared spaces for rent, including offices, an equipped wood workshop and a yurt. Its programme combines hands-on “do it yourself” and “do it with others” activities with cultural and social events. Workshops and training cover woodworking, sewing, low-tech construction, agroecology, participatory science, fermentation and bicycle mechanics. Low-tech courses include building energy-efficient wood stoves, solar air heaters and modular yurts. Members and visitors can also join communal activities such as karaoke, game nights, choir gatherings and shared-work sessions. Through participatory projects, events and its newsletter, Être Éco Lié encourages people to learn together and contribute to a lively, sustainable rural community.
