l'Etrier de Vitrac

L’Étrier de Vitrac is an equestrian centre located in Vitrac, just two kilometres from Sarlat in the Périgord Noir. Established in 1964 and approved by the French Equestrian Federation, it welcomes children and adults, from beginners to experienced riders, competitors and horse owners. Its team includes state-qualified riding instructors and professionals with equestrian tourism and show-jumping qualifications.

The centre offers riding lessons, pony activities, horse-riding stages, outdoor rides and treks, as well as horse boarding. Its facilities include two stable blocks with 25 boxes each, paddocks, a wash and grooming area, two tack rooms, an indoor riding arena and woodland trails. These facilities support activities throughout the year and accommodate a range of riding needs.

For visitors and groups, L’Étrier de Vitrac also offers an equipped, modern gîte near the woodland, with capacity for up to 20 people. Guests can arrange equestrian stays or group accommodation and contact the centre for information and bookings.
