Etscheid Bestattungen

Etscheid Bestattungen is a family-run funeral service in Andernach, supporting families through bereavement with care, experience and clear guidance. Established in 1924, the business has accompanied local families for five generations and is available by phone around the clock, including for people outside the region. Its team helps manage the practical and personal aspects of a funeral, handling necessary formalities, planning farewell ceremonies and explaining available options at a considerate pace.

Services include traditional burials, cremations and sea burials, as well as woodland, garden, river, anonymous and diamond funerals, and urn keeping at home. Etscheid also coordinates domestic and international transfers, including required documentation and, for international transfers, embalming. Additional support covers grief counselling, funeral planning and pre-arrangements, important documents, and guidance on advance healthcare directives, with templates from the State Medical Association of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Andernach location brings together consultations, a display area and funeral printing services. Etscheid emphasizes transparent advice and respectful support tailored to each family’s wishes.
