About European Commission
As part of the European School Education Platform, it provides a safe, free space for school communities to work together on projects, exchange ideas in online groups and build professional skills. The community is open to teachers and school staff, including professionals in early childhood education and care and initial vocational education and training. Teacher educators and student teachers at initial teacher education institutions can also take part.
Members can find partners for new projects or join existing collaborations, creating opportunities for pupils to communicate, explore cultures, create and develop practical skills. Project themes featured on the platform include sustainability, citizenship, STEAM learning and media literacy. To join, users register through EU Login and request validation from the National Support Organisation in their country. eTwinning also supports participants through its ambassadors network and national organisations, and offers professional learning through onsite and online courses, webinars and conferences.
