We are a Vienna-based NGO founded after the war in Ukraine started in February 2022. Our mission is to promote a united Europe and support Ukraine on its way to the EU Integration. Key areas of our activities: - democracy building (civil society, policy transparency, inclusion, citizens engagement in public policy); - human rights and gender equality; - development of an effective society; - promoting the rebuilding of Ukraine; - knowledge and experience exchange for professionals in different fields. Projects we focus on: - promoting a united Europe; - rebuilding of Ukraine and supporting its integration into the EU. Although we are based in Vienna, our initiatives relate to Ukraine, its rebuilding and euro integration; - non-formal education; - experience and knowledge exchange.

The European Centre for Freedom and Independence (EUCFI) is a European expert and advisory organisation that strengthens Ukrainian professionals through non-formal education, professional development, and exchange of European experience. Its work supports Ukraine’s recovery and integration into the European Union, grounded in democratic principles, human rights, security, gender equality, and citizen participation.
EUCFI develops programs for professionals, young people, educators, and communities affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine. Its Professional Integration HUB offers Ukrainian women in Austria long-term internships and entrepreneurship support, helping participants build skills, careers, networks, and business ventures. Other initiatives include youth work with displaced Ukrainians, study visits that share Austrian practices in education and skills recognition, and Re:Generation OPEN DOORS, which connects Ukrainian students in Vienna with Austrian institutions and organisations. Through Path to Europe Starts Locally, EUCFI supports municipal cooperation between Harmannsdorf and Palanka, sharing governance practices and practical expertise. The organisation works with public institutions, civil society groups, and international partners, and contributes to education, decent work, economic growth, and partnerships for sustainable development.
