EucoLight

EucoLight is the European association of producer responsibility organisations specialising in the collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) lamps and lighting products. Its members operate across 17 European countries and manage lighting waste on behalf of participating producers. The association works to make the circular economy a reality for lighting by supporting effective collection, recycling and responsible waste management.

EucoLight represents its members’ interests in European policy discussions and advocates for a regulatory framework that enables efficient, transparent and fair extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes. Its priorities include clear allocation of responsibilities, transparency in producer contributions, safeguards against conflicts of interest, and the ability for schemes to operate across member states without barriers that compromise territorial coverage.

The organisation also shares industry information through publications, position papers, annual reports, newsletters, news and events. These resources address WEEE legislation, EPR reform and environmental policy. Through its advocacy and collaboration with stakeholders, EucoLight supports lighting producers and compliance organisations in advancing the collection and recycling of end-of-life lighting products.
