European Democracy Consulting Stiftung

European Democracy Consulting (EDC) is a consulting firm that supports decision-makers, public institutions and non-governmental organisations working to strengthen democracy in the European Union. Established after the 2019 European elections, the organisation focuses on making European democracy more democratic, transparent and effective through research, practical advice and policy solutions.

EDC offers research and data analysis, policy proposal development, legal drafting and strategic advice. Its work addresses European elections, political parties and their funding, transparency, and geographical representation in EU leadership. The firm also develops resources such as observatories, donation trackers, reports and visualisations to help inform public debate and decision-making.

EDC’s projects examine issues including donations to European political parties, the reform of party rules, electoral systems and representation in EU institutions. Its approach combines experience in European and international public affairs with focused research and actionable recommendations. Through its consulting services and publications, European Democracy Consulting aims to help clients advance their goals and contribute to a more accountable and inclusive European Union.
