The European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ) is an international network organization that connects practitioners, academics, and policy makers in the field of restorative justice throughout Europe and beyond. Our mission is to promote the development of high-quality restorative justice services that are accessible to everyone, regardless of the case or time. While our main focus is on restorative justice in criminal matters, we also acknowledge the importance of its application in family, school, and community mediation.

We do not advocate for a single best practice model of restorative justice, but rather recognize that it is an evolving approach. However, we emphasize that all restorative services must be based on core restorative values and principles and adhere to standards of good practice. Our aim is to contribute to the development of restorative justice in Europe through international information exchange, policy development, research, training, and promoting dialogue among practitioners, policymakers, and researchers.
