About EUNIC
EUNIC, the European Union National Institutes for Culture, is a collaborative network comprising 36 cultural organizations from all EU member states, dedicated to enhancing cultural relations internationally. With a presence in over 90 countries through 120 clusters, EUNIC focuses on diverse initiatives that promote cultural heritage, creative industries, and intercultural dialogue. The league of members engages in activities spanning arts, education, youth empowerment, sustainability, and cultural tourism.
EUNIC’s mission emphasizes the importance of culture in international relations, advocating for cultural diversity and collaboration as fundamental to building trust and understanding across borders. By facilitating knowledge sharing and capacity building, EUNIC supports both governmental and non-governmental entities in fostering cultural connections and partnerships. Their strategic approach is encapsulated in three main pillars: creating cultural collaborations, advocating for the European cultural sector, and enabling peer-to-peer learning.
