The Commission for European Hiking Trails in Slovenia (KEUPS) is dedicated to promoting and managing the E6, E7, and E12 European hiking trails across the country. KEUPS works collaboratively with various organizations, including the Alpine Association of Slovenia and the Slovenian Forest Service, to enhance trail accessibility and sustainability. They offer extensive resources for hikers, such as detailed guides, maps, and information on interesting hiking routes suitable for all levels.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the E6 trail in Slovenia, KEUPS is hosting a public photography competition open to amateur and professional photographers worldwide. The competition encourages participants to capture the essence of the E6 trail, with prizes awarded for outstanding submissions. Moreover, KEUPS actively engages in events like the International Day of Forests to raise awareness about the importance of forests and sustainable management. With a focus on fostering outdoor activities and connecting communities, KEUPS embodies the spirit of exploration and environmental stewardship in Slovenia.
