EU PVSEC

EU PVSEC, the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition, is an international event focused on photovoltaic research, technology and applications. Its 43rd edition took place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 14 to 18 September 2026, bringing together researchers, industry professionals and other members of the global solar community to share developments, build connections and conduct business.

The event combines a scientific conference with an exhibition showcasing technologies, innovations and concepts from the upstream photovoltaic industry. Its programme includes plenary, oral and visual sessions, alongside parallel events, panel discussions and an Industry Summit addressing topics such as emerging technologies, applications and market trends. Exhibitors can present their work, while attendees can take part in networking activities, technical tours, awards and social events. EU PVSEC also provides an online platform with event content, including videos on demand, and publishes conference proceedings.

The conference’s scientific programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre.
