Eureka Sport

Eureka Sport provides skating instruction and training for ambitious recreational skaters, combining a high-level sporting approach with personal attention. The programme is led by Jaap Smit, whose experience includes competing at the national level in long-track and marathon skating. He draws on his own racing background and the knowledge gained from elite coaches to help skaters develop physically, technically and mentally.

Lessons are offered in small groups of similar ability or as private coaching, with Jaap skating alongside participants and providing immediate feedback during exercises. This format allows training to be tailored to each skater’s needs and progress. Beyond regular group and private lessons, Eureka Sport offers video-analysis training, short-track clinics and skating boot camps. Its travel programmes include skating trips in Sweden, preparation for skating in Sweden, and a technique week in Inzell.

Eureka Sport is designed for recreational skaters seeking focused coaching and practical guidance. Its aim is to help participants understand and improve their skating through relevant exercises, direct feedback and a broad approach to training.
