EUROfusion is the European Consortium for the Development of Fusion Energy. Established in 2014, it brings together fusion research bodies from European Union member states and Switzerland in a collaborative effort to advance fusion research. EUROfusion supports and funds fusion research activities on behalf of the European Commission's Euratom programme within the EU member states, as well as Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

The mission of EUROfusion is to pave the way for fusion power reactors. They fund research at 28 member institutions based on the European Roadmap to the Realization of Fusion Energy. Their vision is to create a world where fusion power plants contribute CO2-free power to the grid and complement other sources of energy production.

EUROfusion is supported by a budget of €549. 4 million from EURATOM and €450 million in matching funds from member states for the period 2021 to 2025. The consortium consists of 31 research organizations, along with affiliated entities such as universities and companies.
