About Eurodiaconia
Eurodiaconia is a European network of churches and Christian NGOs dedicated to providing social and healthcare services and advocating for social justice. With 52 national and regional organizations in 32 countries, Eurodiaconia represents the diverse needs and experiences of its members. Their mission is to address poverty and social exclusion, promote Roma inclusion, combat extreme poverty, support employment and active inclusion, address migration issues, and prioritize the well-being of youth, children, and the elderly.
Eurodiaconia offers a wide range of social and healthcare services, including healthy aging and long-term care, social services, and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. They also work to influence social and economic policies, promote social investment, and contribute to the European Semester and Social Pillar. Through funding opportunities, research resources, and toolkits, Eurodiaconia supports its members in implementing projects and initiatives that address social challenges.
By joining forces with partners and conducting events, Eurodiaconia creates a network of social innovation and shares best practices. They also provide webinars and videos to spread knowledge and support important causes. Eurodiaconia is committed to creating a Social Innovation Hub and promoting mental health inclusion.
Through their work, they aim to create a social Europe that advocates for the well-being of all individuals
