EuroMeSCo is a pivotal network of research centers and think tanks in the Euro-Mediterranean region, established in 1996 post the Barcelona Declaration. With 113 institutes from 30 European and Southern Mediterranean countries, EuroMeSCo focuses on fostering evidence-based analysis on Euro-Mediterranean politics. It serves as a platform for dialogue among researchers, stakeholders, and policymakers, enhancing Euro-Mediterranean relations.
Moreover, it advocates for the crucial role of think tanks and research institutes in policy-making. Their flagship project, "Connecting the Dots," funded by the EU and IEMed, emphasizes inclusive policy-making by addressing economic development, migration, and security challenges in the region. Through research, dialogue, and dissemination activities, EuroMeSCo aims to bridge stakeholders and enhance youth and women's participation in the region's expert community.
