About EuroNPUD
EuroNPUD is the leading regional drug user rights network in the European Union and its neighboring countries. As a member of the International Network of People who Use Drugs (INPUD), EuroNPUD is dedicated to promoting the health and defending the rights of individuals who use drugs in Europe. Operating on the principles of drug user rights, self-determination, harm reduction, and safer drug use, EuroNPUD respects and supports individuals' right to make decisions about their drug use.
The organization is anti-prohibitionist and advocates for equality among all individuals. With a rich history of drug user organizing in Europe, EuroNPUD has been at the forefront of pioneering harm reduction practices. From needle and syringe programs to Naloxone distribution schemes and stimulant pipe distribution initiatives, EuroNPUD has played a vital role in supporting the development of drug user organizing globally.
As a network, EuroNPUD strives to champion community mobilization and meaningful participation. They achieve this through coordinated country campaigns, thematic development projects, advocacy work, and leadership development activities. Some of their projects include network strengthening, harm reduction, opioid agonist treatment, literacy and rights, and advocacy for women who use drugs and gender-based violence.
