Europa Nu, the renowned website that has been providing valuable information on European affairs to millions of visitors annually, sadly ceases its operations as of Monday, July 3rd. For over 15 years, PDC, a partner of the Montesquieu Institute, has been funding Europa-Nu. nl out of its own resources.

However, due to the lack of external financing, and with the rejection of a motion for financial support from the government, the website has now been forced to go offline. The Montesquieu Institute has made efforts to secure funding through a grant application to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but the government has expressed reservations, deeming it not to be a task for the state. We would like to express our gratitude to all the readers who have shown their support for us throughout this campaign.
