EUROPEA International

EUROPEA International is an association dedicated to the advancement of vocational education and training (VET) in the green sector across Europe. They bring together a vast network of over 500 green vocational schools from 24 national networks. EUROPEA covers a wide range of professions within agriculture, farming, horticulture, landscaping, forestry, equine studies, and more, encompassing all land-based courses under the umbrella of Green VET.

The association offers a valuable platform for European colleagues to collaborate, share knowledge, and engage in international cooperation. EUROPEA provides an effective framework for transnational collaboration in EU-funded projects and other initiatives, and advocates for the interests of its members with EU institutions. Regular activities include bi-annual meetings and seminars for members, fostering knowledge exchange on important developments in the green sector, as well as addressing didactical and pedagogical issues.

EUROPEA also organizes professional competitions for Green VET students, such as the EUROPEA Wine Championships, AgroChallenge, and Youth Ploughing Contest, among others. Furthermore, EUROPEA facilitates communication among members through a common virtual workspace on Microsoft Teams. The association operates based on legally approved statutes and internal regulations, with governance provided by a General Assembly, a rotating Presidency, an Executive Committee, and the coordination of a Secretary General.

EUROPEA values its history and encourages members to share their knowledge and recollections.
