European Pirates

European Pirates is a political movement that brings together Pirate parties and supporters across Europe. Its work focuses on digital rights, internet freedom, privacy, data sovereignty, transparency, democracy and the protection of fundamental rights in technology and public life. The organisation participates in European policy debates, publishing articles, press releases, consultation responses and position papers on topics such as artificial intelligence, copyright, online platforms, digital markets, encryption and consumer rights. It also shares a manifesto, information about its members, elected representatives, statutes and party board, helping visitors understand its principles and political activity.

European Pirates offers ways for people to engage with the movement, including volunteering opportunities, a forum, events and donation options. Its calendar features conferences such as Think Twice, which explores artificial intelligence, governance and digital freedom. The site also provides news and updates, opportunities to contribute to consultations, and contact information. Through its social media presence and connection to the open social web, European Pirates aims to link people and groups across borders and support discussion about Europe’s digital future.
