About European Women on Boards
European Women on Boards (EWoB) is a non-profit international organization dedicated to promoting gender equality in decision-making and increasing the number of women on boards. Based in Brussels, EWoB is the European umbrella association for gender equality at the highest levels. Our mission is to support the European Union's directive of achieving a minimum of 40% gender representation on boards by 2026.
At EWoB, we work collaboratively with national associations, EU institutions, and corporate partners to advance our goals. We offer various programs such as mentoring, C-level development, and board readiness to empower senior-level women leaders across Europe. In addition, we conduct critical research that monitors and measures gender diversity in decision-making positions.
We welcome membership from associations for the advancement of women, corporate sponsors, and individuals who support our cause.
