About European Writers' Council
The European Writers' Council (EWC) is a vital non-profit federation representing 50 national writers' and translators' associations across 32 European countries. With over 220,000 professional authors working in the text and book sector, the EWC promotes collaboration and best practices exchange among writers globally. Focused on Authors' Rights, Culture Policy, and Cultural Exchange, the EWC advocates for fair remuneration, copyright protection, and the ethical standing of writers worldwide.
