az Eurotrans Alapítvány

Eurotrans Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2004 to encourage cooperation across regions and borders and support participation in European structures. Its current work focuses on helping people, particularly Hungarians in Transylvania, navigate Hungarian citizenship and related administrative procedures. The foundation provides free assistance with simplified naturalization applications, including preparing application files, taking photographs, translating documents, explaining requirements, and guiding applicants through the process. Staff at its regional offices also make scheduled visits to communities outside major centers, bringing information and practical support closer to residents.

Through its Cordon Program, Eurotrans helps families with Hungarian birth registration and applications for one-time maternity support and the Baby Bond savings scheme, which earns interest until a child turns 18 in the Hungarian State Treasury. The organization’s information and services also cover civil registration matters such as marriage, divorce, death, name changes, and address changes, as well as veterans’ care benefits. Its website provides guidance, forms, legal information, frequently asked questions, contact details, and news relevant to Hungarian communities and public procedures.
