Euterpe Rolls

Euterpe Rolls is a specialist supplier of piano rolls for Welte-Mignon pianolas, established by Marcel Veel and Koos van Kruistum. The company aims to make rare recordings more accessible to collectors and pianola owners by reproducing existing rolls with careful reading and cutting techniques. Its catalogue includes copies of historic performances and works by composers such as Chopin, Liszt, Schubert and Beethoven, with each listing identifying the composition and, where available, the original performer.

Customers can browse the growing online library, listen to compositions before purchasing, and request help finding a particular roll through the company’s community. Euterpe Rolls adds new Welte roll copies each week and also offers newly made rolls featuring selected music. The company is developing a service to produce rolls from customer MIDI files; this feature is described as forthcoming. By combining a searchable collection, listening previews and a request service, Euterpe Rolls helps enthusiasts discover and acquire music for their pianolas.
