Eva Folks

Eva Folks Art is the creative practice and online shop of visual artist Eva Folks, featuring imaginative mixed media works for art lovers and collectors. The artwork combines materials such as paint, textures, and objects, with some pieces incorporating glitter or metallic paint. Acrylic pour painting and surreal, imaginative landscapes are central themes, alongside portraits and other artworks. Eva also works with aniline dyes: water-soluble powders mixed with water and applied to wood to create vibrant colour and reveal the grain’s iridescence.

Beyond artwork available to purchase through the website, Eva Folks Art offers learning resources for people interested in developing their creative skills. The site includes a weekly art blog and guides covering acrylic pouring basics, Dutch pours and other techniques, colour mixing, and painting and drawing. In-person painting and drawing classes are offered at Chameleon Arts Studio in Aurora, Ontario. Studio visits are available by appointment.
