About The EFC
The EFC, or Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, is the national association of evangelical Christians in Canada. Their mission is to unite Evangelicals to bless Canada in the name of Jesus. With a focus on five key areas, they strive to make a positive impact on society.
The EFC's Statement of Faith reflects the commonly held beliefs of evangelical Christians worldwide and is shared by all its affiliates. The organization's official statement outlines their charitable purpose and the range of activities they carry out. Formed in 1964 by a group of pastors, the EFC promotes fellowship, cooperation, and a united voice to media and government.
They provide resources, webinars, and videos to inform and engage Evangelicals on topics such as religious freedom, church and mission, family and community care, and the sanctity of life. Additionally, they offer speakers for events, worship services, and fundraisers to encourage deeper, biblically informed engagement with social issues. The EFC is also involved in global initiatives through their ties with the World Evangelical Alliance, Peace and Reconciliation Network, Global Mission Roundtable, and Missions Research Forum.
