EVENiTa

EVENiTa is the activity and events initiative created and run by Iván Anita, a senior dance instructor, balance-training instructor, Nordic walking instructor, and event organiser based in Sümeg, Hungary. Its goal is to encourage people who spend much of their time at home to get moving and enjoy active, social experiences. The programme focuses on senior joyful dance and balance training, with regular sessions in locations including Sümeg, Tapolca, Ajka, Devecser, and Balatongyörök.

EVENiTa also brings participants together through dance meetings, workshops, camps, excursions, trips, and cultural, musical, and food-related events. Posts on the site share highlights from these activities, including group dance gatherings, theatre visits, travel experiences, and community celebrations. The initiative welcomes older adults interested in movement, companionship, and discovering new places and experiences.

By combining exercise with social connection and varied programmes, EVENiTa supports an energetic, joyful way of life and helps participants build community through shared activities
