Everagents, a project of Evernode Labs, is building autonomous AI agents designed to operate on decentralised infrastructure rather than inside a single company’s cloud. Built on Xahau and Evernode, each Everagent can run on an independent host, hold its own wallet and cryptographic keys, register a verifiable identity on-chain, and retain encrypted memory across restarts or host changes. The project says keeping an agent active costs around one dollar a month.

Everagents are intended to reason using local or remote language models and perform commissioned work, such as creating websites, running services, or marketing projects. The planned commission system will let agents work individually or in groups that reach consensus, with payments and rules handled on-chain. Supported assets are expected to include XAH, EVR, and other on-chain currencies.

The project is in soft launch, with key capabilities demonstrated on the Xahau testnet, including deployment, identity registration, persistent memory, and live code updates. Commissioning, agent clusters, and mainnet deployment are among the work ahead.
