EveryPolitician is an innovative project dedicated to compiling comprehensive data on elected politicians worldwide. Aimed at creating a robust, open resource, EveryPolitician provides structured information about national-level legislators, with the long-term goal of including every elected official globally. The initiative delivers valuable datasets in CSV and JSON (Popolo format), making it accessible for developers and organizations to build tools that analyze or interact with political data seamlessly.

Recognizing the significant challenge of gathering and standardizing such vast information, EveryPolitician encourages contributions to enhance its database. Users can benefit from features like contact details and photographs, fostering greater transparency and engagement in governance. With its commitment to consistency and openness, EveryPolitician empowers users to develop applications that facilitate citizen dialogue with their representatives, track political actions, and stimulate democratic participation. Supported by mySociety, the project thrives on donations and community involvement, embodying a true collaboration to enhance democratic access worldwide.
