EverySpec is a free online index and convenience library for military and related standardization documents. The site organizes specifications, standards, handbooks, and other technical publications, helping visitors search a broad collection by document designation or subject. Its archive covers document types including MIL, MIL-STD, MIL-PRF, MIL-DTL, FED, CID, JANS, MS, AND, USAF, DID, UCF, and FIPS, along with amendments, notices, and supplements.

Visitors can browse popular specifications, review recently added documents, and explore categories such as hardware. Examples featured on the site include standards for environmental engineering tests, human engineering, military property marking, electromagnetic interference, and aerospace materials, as well as detailed specifications for components and equipment. The library also lists Department of Defense standardization program updates.

EverySpec positions its collection as a convenient reference resource rather than the authority for current document status. It directs users to the Defense Logistics Agency’s ASSIST system to verify official status and obtain the latest revisions.
