Everystory Lanka is a Sri Lankan-based feminist collective formed in 2018. Our primary focus is on storytelling and knowledge sharing, as we believe that stories and knowledge come in all shapes and forms. Through creative practices, mixed media, panel discussions, and more, we create a space that embraces the complexity and potential for creativity in storytelling.

Our team and way of working began in May 2020 and is primarily remote-based. Alongside our core team, we collaborate with Fellows each quarter on a rolling basis and employ freelancers and consultants for support on various projects.

At Everystory Lanka, we believe that feminism goes beyond equality and equity. It is about challenging and dismantling systems, structures, and institutions of oppression. We view our work as a vehicle to promote the building of a culture, society, and world that is truly equal and equitable, centered on intersectional feminist principles.

Our mission is to harness storytelling and knowledge creation to challenge and dismantle systems of power and oppression. We aim to build a world that is truly equal and equitable, rooted in our histories, traditions, cultures, and practices, while constantly questioning and evolving. Join us in creating a better future.
