EVIM, the Evangelical Association for Inner Mission in Nassau, is a nonprofit social welfare organization and member of Diakonie Hessen. With more than 3,400 employees, 400 volunteers and over 155 locations across Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, it supports people in different stages and circumstances of life. Its work is centred on individual needs, dignity, self-determination and participation in society.
EVIM brings together four main fields: care for older people, education, youth services and support for people with disabilities. Its services include ambulatory and residential care, day and short-term care, assisted living, dementia support, palliative care, childcare, schools, youth services and supported housing and participation. It also provides workshops, workplace opportunities and day programmes. Through affiliated social enterprises, EVIM offers products and services including crafts, gardening, baking, bicycle repair, everyday assistance and creative work.
