EVO (Extra Virgin Oven) Pizzeria is a wood-fired pizza restaurant in North Charleston, South Carolina, and a longtime Park Circle landmark. Founded by Matt McIntosh and Ricky Hacker, the business grew from a mobile wood-fired oven used for catering into a brick-and-mortar restaurant, which opened on East Montague Avenue in 2007. Its cooking is centered on pizza made with locally and regionally sourced ingredients, reflecting the owners’ commitment to supporting the community and serving fresh, delicious food.
EVO welcomes guests for dine-in service on a first-come, first-served basis and also accepts takeout orders; reservations are not available. The website features a menu along with dedicated sections for bakery offerings and branded merchandise, though specific items are not detailed in the provided information. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Mondays.
EVO’s welcoming, community-minded approach combines wood-fired cooking, local sourcing, and an informal neighborhood setting for food and drink. It is located at 1075 East Montague Avenue
