Evrit is an Israeli software developer that specialized in creating Hebrew-language applications for the internet. Its best-known offering, Evrit Mail, enabled users to send Hebrew email from within Microsoft Word, addressing the challenges of working with Hebrew text and email in the software environment of its time. The site describes Evrit as a service from an earlier era of internet use, when Hebrew text handling and popular email software presented different limitations than they do today.

Evrit’s website is now officially closed, and its original services are no longer presented as active. The site indicates that software downloads may still be accessible, although compatibility with current operating systems is uncertain. It characterizes the programs as legacy software and provides codes for interested users. The site also clarifies that evrit.co.il is not for sale. Evrit’s available information therefore serves mainly as a record of its Hebrew software and applications, rather than as a current software service or active product business.
