About EVUS
EVUS, the Electronic Visa Update System, is an official U.S. Department of Homeland Security service administered through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It helps eligible Chinese citizens update required travel information before visiting the United States for temporary business or pleasure. The system is intended for travelers with a valid Chinese passport and a full-term, 10-year U.S. visa in the B1, B2, or B1/B2 class.
Through the EVUS website, applicants can submit an individual enrollment or a group of enrollments, review application requirements, and check enrollment status. The online process guides users through travel document, personal, and trip details, eligibility questions, application review, and submission. Applicants may need to provide contact details, including their U.S. destination address, along with other information when applicable. The listed application fee is $21 USD, payable by accepted credit card or PayPal. The site also offers help topics and access to traveler support resources. EVUS is a government travel-information service, not a private travel agency or visa issuer.
