Ewa Grejner

Ewa Grejner is a community midwife in Zielona Góra, Poland, providing professional care for women and newborns throughout pregnancy and the early weeks of parenthood. A master of midwifery with 36 years of experience, she has run an independent practice since 2001 and previously worked in the Regional Hospital in Zielona Góra. Her services are available free through Poland’s National Health Fund (NFZ) in Zielona Góra and surrounding areas, with private fees applying to some patients and examinations.

Grejner offers individual educational consultations for expectant parents, a 12-session birthing school delivered individually or in groups, and preparation for vaginal birth and caesarean section. Her care also includes postnatal home visits, newborn assessments and care guidance, lactation consultations, cardiotocography (CTG) examinations, and post-operative visits following gynaecological surgery. The birthing classes cover pregnancy, labour, newborn care, feeding, and prevention. Grejner also supports breastfeeding preparation and helps address lactation difficulties. She continues to develop her expertise through training, courses, and conferences, and has experience teaching and lecturing for midwives.
