About Engineers Without Borders Malaysia
Engineers Without Borders Malaysia (EWBM) is a non-profit organization that focuses on engineering projects to benefit disadvantaged communities in Malaysia. With a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability and community empowerment, EWBM aims to improve the quality of life for underserved and underprivileged communities through simple and sustainable engineering solutions. As an affiliate of Engineers Without Borders - International, EWBM harnesses the expertise of students, educators, academics, and professionals in Malaysia to address the needs of these communities.
EWBM currently operates through two branches, EWBM Central and EWBM Sarawak, along with five student chapters from prestigious universities in Malaysia. Their projects include initiatives such as Water4Omadal and Water4Kids, which aim to provide reliable water supply and waste management solutions to communities in need. Additionally, they actively engage with sponsors and collaborators to ensure the success of their projects.
