Exclaim Speech

Exclaim! Speech Therapy, PLLC is a pediatric speech and language therapy practice serving North Chicago and surrounding communities. Led by Steven Wilson, MS, CCC-SLP, an Illinois-licensed speech-language pathologist certified by ASHA, the practice provides individualized, play-based therapy in children’s homes. Its family-focused approach uses engaging activities to help children build communication skills and confidence, while giving caregivers practical strategies to support progress at home.

Services address early communication needs for children from birth to age five, speech sounds and articulation, phonology and apraxia, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and stuttering. The process begins with a free phone consultation, followed by an appropriate screening or comprehensive evaluation and a diagnostic report developed with family input. The therapist then creates a personalized treatment plan with tailored goals and progress monitoring. Exclaim! Speech Therapy currently accepts private-pay clients for weekend appointments. Families can contact the practice by email or through its website to discuss concerns and arrange a consultation.
