l'Exotique Montreux

Boutique L’Exotique is an independent shop in Montreux, Switzerland, founded in 1966 by explorer Henri Maurice Berney. Inspired by his interests in mineralogy and ethnography, the store has long introduced visitors to distinctive pieces gathered from around the world. Today, its team carefully selects and inspects minerals, including raw crystals and fine stones, choosing each piece for its beauty and quality.

The boutique also offers a wide range of fashion jewellery, including bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings, many featuring natural stones, some precious. Its home and gift selection includes Japanese bowls, incense, candles and decorative objects from different countries. An additional space, NJ Closet, presents vintage fashion pieces chosen by its founder, Nathalie.

The experienced staff can advise customers on minerals and lithotherapy, as well as jewellery-making. L’Exotique’s assortment reflects the team’s personal tastes and encounters with artisans and creators, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and carefully selected items. The shop welcomes customers Monday to Saturday in central Montreux.
