Expand Abilities

Expand Abilities is a Connecticut speech-language pathology practice founded by licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Lauren Marietti. Serving children and adults across the lifespan, the practice offers individualized, evidence-based care grounded in clients’ strengths, interests, and communication styles. Its supportive, neuroaffirming approach aims to help each person build communication skills in ways that respect their unique needs.

Services address autism spectrum disorder, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, echolalia, fluency, apraxia of speech, voice, cognitive communication, reading and writing, auditory processing, sensory feeding difficulties, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Lauren is trained in Natural Language Acquisition and works with autistic individuals who communicate using delayed echolalia. Children’s sessions use play-based activities, while families receive strategies to support progress in everyday routines. Telehealth appointments are available, the practice accepts insurance, and online paperwork can be completed. Located at 457 Bantam Road in Litchfield, Connecticut, Expand Abilities is accepting new clients. The practice emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and practical support for communication development.
