About Expanse
Expanse is a compute optimization platform for organizations that operate their own GPU clusters, including teams running high-performance computing (HPC), AI training, inference, and batch workloads. It helps teams make better use of existing hardware by predicting each job’s resource needs before execution and identifying opportunities to reduce waste and failed runs.
Designed to work alongside existing SLURM and Kubernetes schedulers, Expanse connects to a cluster with a single command and collects workload telemetry without requiring teams to change their workflows. Its models adapt to each infrastructure environment and provide evidence-based estimates for GPU allocation, memory use, runtime, and completion or failure risk.
The platform offers two main features. Expanse Analyse helps teams size job requests before submission, with predictions presented as confidence distributions. Expanse Diagnose uses code, logs, and metrics to identify the root causes of failed jobs and provide evidence-grounded guidance. Expanse supports cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments and aims to improve utilization while helping engineering teams make more reliable infrastructure decisions.
