Despite constant attacks on press freedom, Explained PH remains resolute in covering and reporting local, regional, and national issues by sourcing information from primary and secondary sources. Their digital content includes a wide range of topics from news, lifestyles, opinions, sports, science and technology, to podcasts, cartoons, explainers, and video plugs.

Additionally, Explained PH places great importance on youth and community empowerment, offering flagship programs such as journalism camps, trainings, webinars, and online journalism competitions that enhance the skills of campus journalists across the Philippines.
