About Explora Science Center
Explora Science Center & Children's Museum is a one-of-a-kind brand that empowers individuals to take control of their own learning. Since its inception in 1983, Explora has brought together two groups with the vision of creating a children's exploratorium and a science and technology exploratorium. Combining these ideals in 1995, Explora has become a place for people of all backgrounds, ages, genders, and abilities to engage in lifelong learning.
With over 250 exhibit activities in science, technology, and art, families and individuals can learn together through hands-on exploration. Explora also offers a range of programs, camps, and workshops for both children and adults, such as Family Science Nights and Adult Night events. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Explora serves as a community resource and partner, striving to promote diversity and create opportunities for all to participate in STEAM education.
