Express Swimming

Long Island Express Swimming is a USA Swimming member club serving swimmers at a range of experience and competitive levels. Established more than 40 years ago, the program provides professional instruction for novice students as well as athletes competing at the national caliber level. Training takes place at the Hofstra University Swim Center in Hempstead and the Pratt Recreation Center at LIU Post in Brookville, New York.

The club offers regular-season team practices from Monday through Sunday, with scheduled sessions on weekday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Practice times vary according to a swimmer’s group selection. Long Island Express Swimming also provides year-round learn-to-swim lessons, giving participants opportunities to develop their swimming skills through instruction.

Tryouts are announced for the 2026–2027 season, with further information available through the club’s flyer.
