About Expression Australia
Established in 1884, Expression Australia is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering the Deaf and hard of hearing community. With a rich history spanning over 130 years, we have been providing support and services to individuals across Victoria and Tasmania. Our mission is to help people who are Deaf or hard of hearing overcome barriers in their lives and choose how they want to live.
We offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our community. These include interpreting and captioning, employment services, audiology and communication support, support coordination, and assistive technology. We also provide training in Auslan, the Australian Sign Language, and produce video materials to promote learning and awareness.
Additionally, we offer support for individuals over the age of 65, as well as services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). At Expression Australia, we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to information and support.
